"He was our workhorse at Virginia Tech," Hosley said. "I think he's going to go out Sunday and be the man and carry the load. He's a guy who can handle that."
As productive as Wilson was in generating 4,349 all-purpose yards for the Hokies, the Giants continue to view him as an exciting prospect but a project as well.
"He's still got some areas that you guys won't see that need some significant upgrading so we can keep the entire offense going," Gilbridetold reporters on Thursday.
